In your account information you can upload your logo, create your closing text example terms and conditions, and update your address.

You will only need to update this once, as it will be reused for all future quotes.

For the quote itself, you can enter information such as greeting, customer address, 'quote created' date and 'valid until' date. After completing this information, just click on 'Save and close quote header'. That will save the information and collapse the Customer Information section.

With your mouse, roll over the 'Start new' link at the top right as shown in the below example and select 'Create a new quote'.

Here you can enter VELUX products as well as any other products you install or services you sell:

• Use the convienient search bar ton find VELUX products - as soon as you start typing in a product code, the system will begin searching for codes that match, so you won't need to remember the exact code.
• Click 'new line' and you enter items/services that you sell (optional)

Prices for VELUX items will pre-populate, but you will need to enter the 'per item' price for any non-VELUX products.

Taxes and discounts can be entered here as well. There are fields at the bottom to enter a single discount (either percentage or cash value) with a description. Simply put a % sign after the numeric value to have the system calculate it as a percentage. If you type in a number without a % sign, the system will treat it as a straight cash value.

After you've finished entering all your items, click on 'Save Client Quote' to save your changes

Almost done! All you have to do now is decide how you'd like the quote sent. Click 'Send, print or export' “Send, Print or Export...”

If you select “Send as email (PDF)” the system will create the quote in PDF format and email it to the recipient(s) you specify in the form (see screenshot).

That’s the basics of creating a quote. There are several other features you can try too, like using the product selection links at the top of the page to add products, or saving products to your favorites list to make finding them easier.

And don't forget that the tool can be used for all your quoting activities, not just VELUX quotes. It makes an easy way to create, send and track any quote for any job you have.
